Can you treat all varicose veins?
Sclerotherapy can be used to treat most cases of spider veins and larger veins as well. In some cases, your physician might recommend alternate forms of therapy.
How long will a Botox treatment last?
Botox effects may vary from one person to another. For example, treated wrinkles between your eyebrows will seem to fade away for up to 4 months. It has also been determined that treatment will last longer when repeated.
Should I wait before seeing a physician for my varicose veins?
Varicose veins are most easily treated as soon as they are detected. Our clinic offers preliminary examinations at no cost to patients if no treatment is required.
How fast will I see effects of the Botox treatment?
The appeasing effect on your face usually appears 3 or 4 days after treatment. In some cases, it may take up to 15 days.
How many visits to the clinic will be necessary for varicose veins?
Depending on your condition, sclerotherapy will require between two and six sessions. In some cases, this might be as much as ten. After your preliminary examination, your physician will indicate approximately how many sessions your case should require. Most insurance policies cover at least part, if not all, of the costs.
Are Botox injections painful?
Botox is injected into your face muscles using micro-needles, without anesthesia. You can resume your normal activities as soon as you leave the clinic.
How many injections should I expect for each varicose veins treatment?
The number of injections varies with each visit. Injections vary according to the affected area, dosage, and specific type of medication used. The larger the veins affected, lower will be the number of individual injections.
Should I expect serious side effects from a Botox treatment?
Botox has been approved in Canada since 2001. Botox side effects, if any, are temporary and reversible. The physician will inform you and answer any questions about risk prior to your treatment.
